Sorry about the absence, folks. There was some problems with getting my domain name renewed. But that's all worked out now, and now I can get back to...well, everything I was talking about before.

Hope nobody out there thought I was gone forever and deleted me from their feeds. That would just be embarrassing.

More updates to come...

Things are starting to come together for me. Not in the "Pop open the bottle of celebratory champagne" sort of way, but at least in the "Why, I like those apples very much, thank you for asking" sort of way.

Anyway. Among my long, long "To Do" list over the next few weeks, I will be including some new stuff for this site.

I realize that the fact that I haven't been putting more time into my little brainchild here is a major factor that it hasn't yet become the revenue source that it could be. So, I'll be updating the graphics a bit, finishing the transfer from blogspot, and adding a couple of new features like an audio podcast and a comic strip. Everybody loves podcasts and comic strips. And, of course, my everpopularly consistent promise to update the content on Obviously... more often.

All this will come in tandem with my mighty push to sell my writing, while also preparing for a move to a new residence. I will be a very, very busy boy over the next month or so.

Of course, once I do get all of this going, I may still have to find a job while I wait for all of it to bear fruit. I'm sure I'll be quite exhausted. It will probably be very amusing for all of you to see the steady decline of my coherency as I work myself to death.

Not only have I been lax on writing new updates, I've all but given up on transferring the old posts to the new location. I know, how do I expect to become an internet sensation if I insist on having any semblance of a life away from the laptop?

Anyway, I was asked "The Question" again; "Why do they call you Doc?" Since I already made the point to write that expose some three years ago, I figured it was the best direction to send them. However, I've only backlogged the blog for the last 2-and-a-half years.

So, while this is a reminder to finish that little project, I went ahead and jumped forward and added my dirtiest little secret to the tail end of the archive. Perhaps I can multi-task the rest of the transfers while on the phone for the next few days.

I have much more pressing matters to deal with for the next few days, and the creative lifestyle is being forced into the back seat.

Aw crap, I am waaay to behind on, well, everything. There will be no further Obviously... posts this week. I get this shit together over the weekend.
