My recent return to the world of anime fandom has so far produced one fanboy crush. As it turns out, some of my favorite characters are voiced by the same woman, who is also very hot. Today I raise a glass to the anniversary of her arrival into this reality.

An actual conversation I had earlier today:

Him: China, huh? How long?
Me: Two years.
Him: Kick ass. Get any poon?
Me: I'm sorry?
Him: You get laid while you were there?
Me: Uh....yeah....
Him: Chinese girls?
Me: ....a couple....
Him: Kick ass. (pause) So, is it true?
Me: Is what true?
Him: You know...what they say about Chinese chicks...that they...you know.
Me: ....Oh, that. Yeah. Totally true.
Him: Whoa. Really?
Me: Yep.
Him: Damn! Doesn't that just blow your mind?
Me: Well...you get used to it eventually.
Him: Yeah, I guess you'd have to.

I am in the process of transferring all of my old Obviously... posts onto the new location. This probably means a lot of future posts on retrospective insights as to the last 4 years of my life. Possibly even a mental breakdown or two. Stay tuned.

I was meaning to get back into photography the whole time I was in China. I was lazy about it though. But, a recent pledge to my crew at FrogFaith means really putting the effort in now. I have no idea how it's going to turn out, but in preparation for it, I've activated a new blog dedicated entirely to pretty pictures.

My recent Obviously... post on "The Missing Genitals" has been trumped. I still stand by my reasoning for choosing "Missing Genitals" as the Catch Phrase for the phenomena. But, I got to admit, this one rolls off the tongue better, and is arguably more appropriate as a more epic offender.
